American Institute for Cancer Research offers information about cancer prevention, mainly through diet and nutrition. They provide a program for those living with cancer called “CancerResource”.  The CancerResource programs are available for 4 specific cancers; breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer. This organization is a BBB accredited company.

 

Center for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDD)
A leader in nationwide efforts to ease the burden of cancer, CDC works with national cancer organizations, state health agencies, and other key groups to develop, implement, and promote effective strategies for preventing and controlling cancer.

 

Cancer Prevention Research Center
A research organization dedicated to helping people change their behavior for living longer, healthier lives. Their primary mission is to enhance the quality and quantity of life through prevention of cancer, other chronic diseases and premature death.

Corporate Angel Network – Cancer patients fly free in empty seats on corporate jets Corporate Angel Network is the only charitable organization in the United States whose sole mission is to help cancer patients access the best possible treatment for their specific type of cancer by arranging free travel to treatment across the country using empty seats on corporate jets. This not only improves the patients’ chances of survival but at the same time, it reduces their emotional stress, physical discomfort and financial burden.
NeedyMed – Find help with the cost of medicine. NeedyMeds is a 501(c)(3) non-profit information resource devoted to helping people in need find assistance programs to help them afford their medications and costs related to health care.
